Red Dragon House in Kansas City

This place was great for a lunch time stop. The staff was very friendly. Ordered the hot/sour soup, crab rangoon, and cahsew chicken which was all very good. For their $6 lunch specials you couldn't ask for more.

I've been going to this place since I was a child. This place has some of the best tasting Chinese food in the Kansas City area. I would recommend this place to anyone that enjoys Chinese.

Great service!! Fantastic food

Great service and even better food. I had the Sesame Chicken and fried rice. The chicken had a light and fluffy coating and the sauce was perfect.

Good food, decent prices, easy to get to, there is a parking garage, the staff is always friendly!

Amazing food honestly. REAL chinese food and you get a lot for you money. We definitely enjoy our visit and our meal. Also, the worker taught me some phrases in chinese 😁

Dirty carpet. Some lightbulbs don't work. Food looks dull, has no flavour, taste old and smells bad. Ran out of napkins half way through our meal. Waste of time and money.

The Red Dragon House is the best Chinese food around. The decor is a bit dated, but works well and fits in with the historic building. The food is good quality, well prepared, plentiful, served fresh and hot, and tasty. The menu has a lot of variety. The service is friendly and helpful. I have eaten here many times and never been disappointed.

Red dragon has some of the best Chinese in the city! Their crab ragoons are AMAZING! They have excellent service. I would highly recommend the general tso chicken or the chicken fried rice!

I celebrated my graduation today in this fine place. I am glad to say that it was a terrific evening and the restaurant was clearly one of the reasons for that happy meeting. The team collaborated in a sweet manner, the cuisine was delicious and my buddies were extremely cheerful. We shall surely come back again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

This is one of the best hidden gems in the downtown area. It's a bit of a walk from the convention center and hotels, but this place offers the some of the best Chinese food in the area at a very affordable price. The staff is also incredibly friendly and gives a very welcoming vibe to anyone who stops in. This is a must stop if you stay in the downtown area.

Some of the best egg foo yong I have ever had. Very well done most make the brown gravy too salty etc. Good portions as well.

This place had a bad smell, I almost didn't order any food for that reason; but I spent majority of my lunch looking for the restaurant. My food was over cooked with 0 flavor. A waste of time and money.

We thought we would try this restaurant that has been around for a long time. Unfortunately I can only describe it as OK. We started with hot a d sour soup. It was in a beef broth that was not thickened and not seasoned much. Egg rolls and crab rangoons will also ok but not exceptional. The Moo Shoo pork was good. Service was good but wait staff was a bit strained having to work as hostess, bus person and waitress all at once.

Red Dragon had some of the best tasting Chinese food for an affordable price. It is located conveniently in the heart of downtown. The staff is super kind and very on top of it. Never have I felt treated better by staff. It is defientely a hidden gem in downtown Kansas City.

The staff was nice and friendly. I ordered general tso chicken. I am not used to tso's being so vinegary. I am used to a more richer sauce. I also ordered egg drop soup and found it to be loaded with onions which would be fine had I ordered onion soup. I will not be back due to these items flavors. I am not used to the flavors. 2 stars for the staff being so nice

Work right up the street from here went in yesterday to look around and went in and tried today i got the lunch special general tos chicken placed order by phone walked down staff was so inviting sat down and chatted with the guy behind the bar he was Amazing Food was Hot and so Good nice portion I will definitely be back

Ordered the Shrimp Egg Foo Yon with extra Shrimp and extra gravy. Was the best I ever had. Flavorful and cooked perfectly. Large portion. Looking forward to trying more menu items. Chef definitely knows what he is doing, and had the pleasure of meeting him.

The service was friendly and attentive. The food came quick and was all good. Others in my group enjoyed the coffee, broccoli and beef, and lo mein. If you can't find street parking, they have parking under the building in a garage with posted spots.

This place was within walking distance from the lofts I stayed at when visiting KC! Great, authentic Chinese food with a real relaxing environment. Nice workers that provide just the right amount of service for the eating experience! I ate there 4 times in 3 days! Large amount of food for a good price!

The food here is one of the best in KC. However the establishment could use a thorrow deep cleaning. The building and architecture is gorgeous. But the smell is unsettling. My advice is grab takeout and devour it in your hotel room or at home. Prices are extremely reasonable. Lady that runs it doesn't speak good English so it is difficult to order but it honestly wouldn't matter if your order gets screwed up. Everything is excellent.

Horrible.Zero flavor!!!I think the shrimp, meat, & chicken was boiled/prepped in water....no flavor. Worst lo mein I have had in my life!!!! I left hungry cause I couldn't bare to finish my meal.

Good food at great price but was hard to find and restaurant looks out dated and is hard to find.

Great value for made to order Chinese favorites! Weekday lunch parking was not as challenging as I expected.

I live upstairs and get takeout from here at least once every two weeks or so. Great food, I really like the Kung Pao Shrimp which has some really delicious mushrooms and toasted peanuts. Everything I’ve had here is great. There’s a lot of variety on the menu.

If you like food without flavor and food that has zero character this is the place for you.

It was very good and the prices were reasonable.

Red Dragon House is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the downtown area and I am always happy when I get a meal there. The food is delicious and affordable, and I love the exotic tastes and flavors they have, which a great variety of dishes. And the waiters are always helpful and polite if I have questions about the menu. Highly recommended.
